October 28: the streets of Rome are populated
The city lives
- The streets of Rome are now populated: up to 48 Roman citizens walk and talk across ten districts of the capital — the docks, the Forum, the market, the barracks row, the temple street, the baths, and more. Walk through and the city answers.
- The crowd was built months ago but sat switched off since August because its spawn points dropped people into the wilderness. The spawn points are now verified against the actual streets, and the switch is on.
- Citizens speak ambient lines as you pass, wander their districts, and head home when no one is around — the city is quiet when empty and alive the moment you arrive.
- Also in this restart: the in-game pack now serves Romanica Texture Pack v2.0.9 (the pack menu finally says the right name), and the login code entry on the website was rebuilt as six separate digit boxes.
